Head to London's best parks whatever the season
Despite the temperamental winter weather we can't deny there's something about those crisp mornings when Jack Frost nips at your nose and the skies are blue and clear - worthy of that 'Insta-shot'. When these days come, we love to step out and enjoy some of the beautiful parks the capital has to offer. With eight million trees in London, the world’s largest urban forest, we have something special. That's why we wanted to share our perfect parks to head to for a winter stroll.
Richmond Park

Hop on the train to Richmond and you'll feel like you've stepped out of London. With loops perfect for a walk, cycle or run. But it isn't just about staying active; from petting the deers and watching some of the rugby to indulging in a coffee and cake, there is certainly something for the everyone.
Crystal Palace Park

One for the historians, Crystal Palace Park is home to some full-size dinosaurs – models built by the Victorians which you can spot in between the trees. If you aren't into hitting the books, then you can get lost in the maze or enjoy a tranquil moment by the lake. A short train ride away on the overground from Victoria, it's fun for the whole family.
Greenwich Park
Head to Westminster, and fly up the Jubilee Line to Greenwich Park for sweeping views of the Thames and the city of London. While you're there why not gaze up at the stars with the Royal Observatory at one of their planetarium shows and stand on the iconic Meridian Line with one foot in the west and one foot in the east, home to Greenwich Mean Time (GMT).
Battersea Park

Probably the smallest of our picks, Battersea Park is the closest to Dolphin Square. Battersea Park is home to beautiful routes to meander around, ample green space to play games, and have a picnic (with a warm drink of course), and plenty of amateur sport on the weekends to watch.

St James Park
This Park is based in the heart of Westminster and bounded by Buckingham Palace to the west. A large open space surrounded by iconic British monuments, fountains and statues. Perfect spot to kick back in a deck chair in front of the breathtaking 20ft water plume, The Tiffany Fountain.

Pimlico Gardens
Across the road from St George square lies Pimlico Gardens, a riverside park with plenty of trees, seating and inhabits key Victorian statues. At the centre of the park is a large marble sculpture dedicated to early 19th-century statesman William Huskisson. A great place to appreciate historical monuments, soak up the sun and enjoy the view across the River Thames.
Kensington Gardens
This ravishing garden once known as the private garden of Kensington Palace is open for all our enjoyment. The gardens are full of radiant summer flowers, truly a place to appreciate Nature’s glory. The park includes great facilities including the Serpentine Galleries, two contemporary art galleries that hold exquisite free entry exhibitions.

Dolphin Gardens
We saved the best till last; of course we couldn’t leave out the Dolphin Square Gardens. Our open gardens are full of glorious trees and bright blooming flowers. The air is filled with robust flower scents, and is truly the perfect spot to get away from the hustle and bustle of London life. Why don’t you join us and make the most of the fleeting sunshine.
