Ice Skating Venues


With the colder weather comes coats’, scarves, thick boots, mulled wine and ice skates. Central London’s pop-up ice rinks are getting into full swing for the festive season build up.

Visit Alexandra Palace for its lofty indoor skating arena, or wait until the likes of the Natural History Museum, Hampton Court Palace and the Tower of London display their festive extravaganzas. This year there’s plenty to sink your blades into.


Carols by Candlelight


This year the Barbican Hall will host Candles by Candlelight, a concert of Christmas carols and seasonal classics to welcome in the festive season. In sublime candlelight and dressed in classic 18th century costume, the event promises to be a truly unforgettable evening for the entire family.



Winter Wonderland at Hyde Park


Hyde Park is never one to bemoan dressing up for the festive season. This year, the Winter Wonderland will be dazzling from 22nd November through to 6th January. With the UK’s largest outdoor ice rink and the brand-new Snowman experience (based on the animated classic) Hyde Park’s 2018 Christmas Extravaganza will be sure to entertain
