Sadly visitors recently said their last goodbyes to Dippy, the much-loved Dino, who loyally guarded the museum’s entrance for over 35 years. Joining in the festivity of a royal celebration is a lot cheaper than you may think. This is because The Queen’s House has recently reopened following a major restoration, the perfect way to celebrate its 400th anniversary. Living up to its status, Inigo Jones designed a majestic spectacle, taking inspiration from his travels to Italy. Guests can marvel at the architectural artistry, which doesn’t fail to astound. His Tulip Stairs are a particular crowd pleaser and the best place for the perfect Instagram picture.

Finally, if you add up the cost of family outings they can be a pretty expensive affair, which is why The Southbank Centre is helping us out with this one.
